The fist thing I’ll tell you is that you need to match your business needs with appropriate Conference Call Service Providers. Often times folks will immediately latch on with the free conference call providers only to find out later they made a big mistake. As the saying goes, you typically get what you pay for and if you’re hosting a call.

So what are you going to look for? For starters I’d look to see how many lines are available for a free account and match that up to your needs. Typically you can offers a few dozen lines without having to reach into you pocket.

Next, you need to determine if you need a toll free number for the call. If your bringing new clients to the call then it may pay off to use a toll free line whereas existing clients are not offended to make a long distance call (especially with today’s flat rate plans)

Once you’ve answered these questions then it’s time to test the quality of the Conference Call Service Providers you’ve chosen. Pick three and ask some business partners to jump on a call and put it to the test. Many of the free conference call providers will use voip technology which allows for dramatically lower costs yet the quality is noticeably effected (but not always)
